Love it, only con is it makes a buzzing noise
As a chronically cold sleeper who shares a bed with a chronically warm sleeper I’m obsessed with this. I love that it has a timer. I haven’t tried washing it. The settings give you a wide variety of warmth levels. We just don’t plug in my boyfriend’s side since he sleeps hot. You can feel the cords a little, but it is not terrible. We put it above our mattress cover but below our fitted sheet. The two cons are1. You can’t really make your bed look nice because according to the directions you shouldn’t tuck in a blanket over it so our top sheet and comforter just kind of hang off the bed now, whereas before I would make the bed and tuck them in. A small price to pay in my opinion to stay warm.The bigger con is2. This thing makes a buzzing noise when it is on. My boyfriend doesn’t notice it, but I am a light sleeper. It is quiet enough that you can’t hear it until your head is on the pillow, but then you hear a periodic buzzing of the warming mechanism. The higher the setting the quicker the buzzing. I am able to fall asleep eventually but it does sometimes drive me a little crazy. I didn’t see this mentioned in other reviews so I wanted to mention it here. For compulsive personality types it can be bothersome. But I am so cold the pros outweigh the cons.

After heart surgery, it has became harder to stay warm on cold nights..
I ordered one for my full size bed, to help preheat the bed on cold nights… It was awesome… The best part is, if you set it on 1 or 2, your bed stays warm all night long, no matter how cold the room gets.. It is a really good warmer.. I even used it in the summer… I turn the AC on, turn the heater up to 2, and snooze away… I used to use a heating pad to help keep me warm at night, but the pad only keeps the body parts that it touches warm, but the heated mattress cover, keeps everything warm.. I strongly recommend it..
