I purchased the Waterdrop Alkaline Water Filter Dispenser to provide healthier, better-tasting water for my family, and I’ve been genuinely pleased with its performance. The 40-cup capacity is perfect for regular use, and I’m not constantly refilling it like with smaller pitchers. Setup was simple and the included filter fit smoothly right out of the box. The water tastes noticeably fresher and cleaner, and I like knowing it’s filtered to be toxin-free and alkaline, with a pH up to 9.5. The dispenser’s design is sturdy, easy to fill, and the spout doesn’t leak or drip. I also appreciate that it’s BPA-free and holds up well to everyday use on my countertop or in the fridge. If you’re looking for a large, reliable alkaline water solution, this dispenser is an excellent choice.

Alkalinity great but filters water too fast
I already have an opti-water counter top water filter that holds 3 gallons of water at one time, and lasts 3-4 months but the filter needs replacing. Their filters cost about $55 and this month I needed to cut back just a little on expenses. So, I decided on this filter system because everything cost $42, good deal. About the water quality, I tested the alkalinity PH and it is over 7, not quite 9.5 but I can live with that as it serves the purpose but I’ve yet to test the chlorine, still waiting on the chlorine test drops but from the taste and smell of the water alone, it seems to be doing the job. The only thing I don’t like about this filtering system is that it filters the water way too fast, it goes through and fills up the container less than 30 mins, which is not kosher for me. I like a much slower yet steady water drip to make sure it’s doing the job effectively! What I did to slow the water flow was add small pieces of pure, clean cotton balls into both filter holes underneath the filter cartridge and that did the trick. The water flow is not too fast nor extremely slow but just right for ME. I drink a lot of water and use it for my smoothies, teas and other uses. Therefore, I have to have a lot of clean and filtered water on hand daily, I filter a gallon a day then tranfer it to one gallon glass jugs to always have at least 2 gallons on hand-never running out, especially since I tweaked the filter drops to make them slower which does take “longer” to fill the container…. don’t mind that at all. Also, I haven’t had any issues with the filter being clogged or not working, the key to that is keeping the water always above the filter making sure it doesn’t dry out. The jury is still out on the chlorine filtering, which is a good indicator that its filtering out the other toxins and chemicals like they claim.Lastly, I have seen a lot of reviews about the light not working properly for knowing when to replace the filter causing concern if it’s still working or not. I usually test the chlorine and alkalinity weekly and more frequently closer to the manufacturer time frame for any filters to avoid drinking unclean water. As I stated before, the chlorine test is usually a good indicator for other contaminates and toxins being removed…..will update on that test result soon..Update 3/26/24I received the chlorine test drops today and tested the water, it works! The filtered water is clear as can be from chlorine….

Great Purchase
I love this water dispenser. It’s convenient and saves us so much money. The water tastes great. We fill it 2-3 times a week, which is great because we drink so much water.

Large capacity and efficient, inexpensive filters. A bit cumbersome to haul about for refills, but holds a good amount of water and keeps me hydrated. Water comes out very clean, filter does an excellent job pulling all the calcium from my rather hard water.
