Husband loves it
I gave this to my husband for christmas.Absolutely.Made the giggle sound, and I don’t get that very often.When I give him a gift, so if it was awesome, he played with it for an hour.And a half and checked the temperature of everything.And everyone and every little, tiny thing you could possibly think of in our house and around our yard.It thoroughly works and it works well and he is enthused by it.Thank you

Nice unit for the money. The first one I purchased had a problem after a couple of uses. Got a replacement in two days and works great now.

I keep the foyer of my home exactly at 31 degrees. This way snow and ice on boots and jackets never melts and makes a mess of the floor. It’s also insanely refreshing when coming in from a hot summer day and that blast of frigidity welcomes you coming in the door. I found out last week my home is in fact haunted. Well, with so many coming and going through the foyer, I must pay constant attention to the room’s temperature. The Smart Jerry Infared Thermometer Gun is perfect for this. It is very easy to use and the perfect size. The price was great too! If you need to know the temperature of something at a moments notice, the easy to use tool is a good choice!

I don’t have another to check calibration, but seems to work well.Slightly difficult trigger is the reason for 4/5 rating.Also, while reading is clear, it doesn’t stay visible very long. Probably to preserve battery life.It gets used maybe 5-6x/month, have the original batteries still, so it doesn’t seem to use an excess of power.

Need a zip tie
A zip tie holds it together the latch if messed up but it takes temperatures!
