EASY INSTALLATION FALL PREVENTION TURN ON STEP 1
Install batteries, close the cover with the screwdriver and turn on. Locate the pocket on the bed pad, open it, set the switch to Early-Alert (right) and close pocket. The pad will start beeping!

PAD PLACEMENT STEP 2
Place the bed pad under the mattress at hip height with the “Early-Alert” side in line with the edge of the bed. Place mattress down on top of it & wait until pad stops beeping (10 sec to 2 min depending on mattress).
MATTRESS MUST BE 12” THICK OR LESS | Not Compatible with memory foam or tempur-pedic mattresses.

TESTING STEP 3
Lay down on the bed. From the lay down position, sit up on the edge of the bed and then exit bed. The alarm should sound to indicate it’s working. Cancel the alarm by firmly pressing STOP.

Bed alarm for elderly mom
Works very well. My 84 yr old mother weighs about 148 lbs. We placed alarm under mattress and the ‘alarm’ we have in our bedroom it’s plenty loud, we actually put it on vibrate and it still loud enough. No wifi needed. It can also be turned off when she’s not in bed.

This alarm has been a game changer when it comes to my Dad’s safety. My Dad is a serious fall risk. His home is quite large. The alarm goes off the moment it senses that he’s gotten up from his chair or bed. The caregivers can be anywhere in the house and they know immediately that he has stood up. Great bed alarm
We’ve been using this for about a month for my elderly mother who, previous to the purchase, had a fall going to the bathroom one night. We like that it isn’t dependent on electrical power since we occasionally have a power outage. The alarm is triggered when my mother moves to the edge of the bed to get up. The only problem with that is that we get a number of false alarms because she likes to sleep right at the edge of her mattress. She will sometimes trigger the alarm just by rolling to the edge, not actually getting up. We have put a camera in her room now so that we can check on our smartphone if she is actually getting up or is just moving during sleep before racing down to her room to assist her.The alarm is LOUD! I can hear it from almost any room in the house when it goes off. I wish it had a volume control so that we could turn it down a bit when we are sleeping. I sleep with it on my nightstand so I can silence it immediately since it’s like having a smoke detector go off. The other annoyance is that when you turn it back on again, it gives out one loud alarm tone. I hide it under a pillow before turning back on so I don’t wake my husband up a second time.Overall I’m very satisfied with my purchase because I never miss my mother getting out of her bed alone.

Very impressed with the product. Seems extremely well made…very think vinyl..very clear instructions. Even gives you the website to view a video on how to install it for technology challenged folks like me. I would recommend this highly for anyone with a family member that tends to wander. Seems to be a good value for the money…all the parts are of good quality. I would certainly buy again. Negative…the batteries on the pads are not replaceable…so when they die..I think you have to buy new pads. The batteries in the receiver are 2-A.

You CANNOT BE WITHOUT this product if you are a caregiver of someone with Dementia or Alzheimer’s!!
My Mom has Alzheimer’s and gets up numerous times during the night, to the restroom & wandering. We have door alarms in place & an intercom in her room where we can hear her constantly, but we still coul miss when she actually got out of bed, even with a sensor on the floor! We were SO afraid she would fall and hurt herself before we could get to her! This product has been a game changer and as far as we are concerned, a LIFE SAVER! This early-alert alarm feature alerts on our monitor (only, not scaring her) when she sits up, before she even puts her feet on the floor & we are at her side before she stands!! WHAT A PEACE OF MIND; I sleep like a baby now, between when she gets up; lol! WHAT a difference!I can tell you that I had a very thick mattress plus a 2” memory foam topper on her bed, so it took a little tweaking of the pad placement to get it just right and their Customer Service Support Team was absolutely amazing & my system was up & running 100 % in no time! I absolutely recommend this product if you have a vice one you are concerned about; it will give you such a sense of RELIEF! I even go sit out on me deck now with no worries!! I even bought the Chair Pad, as well!

Very pleased with this purchase. Read the quick start guide and had the bed alarm up and running in a couple minutes. Been reliable since then and easy to use. Using it on a slat bed (slats are closer together than usual) under a thick foam mattress. Taped the alarm to the slats in 4 places to make sure the alarm stays in place.Only challenge has been that the alarm can go off if the person is lying in bed is too close to the edge of the bed. But that can be corrected by getting the sleeper to move towards the middle of the bed once the problem occurs and in future making sure the sleeper is more in the middle of the bed at the start of the night.

Works well with no false alarms. There is no cable to attach to the bed part as it has a built in battery. The sound monitor has two sound levels one being loud and the other quiet. The hand unit/pager uses a battery which is not rechargeable. It is easy to pair the two items and they worked well when we took them on holiday

The mattress pad came conveniently paired with its wireless pager. Instructions very clear. Installed within minutes of opening the box. Works great!The only thing I would improve is an option to lock-in the ring tone. When pressing the stop button after the alarm goes off, it’s very easy to press volume button instead. When doing so it toggles the ringing sound to vibration mode.Highly recommended for those at high risk for falls.
