Did someone call for fresh air?
So the room size isn’t that big so this purifier is just right. Its virtually silent until you turn the wind speed up. Even then its not a crazy loud noise. Its easy to use and build last. It doesn’t take up much power either or at least for us it didn’t. What I am bewildered about it function. Because when you look at it you’d assume the fresh air is going to blow out straight. Instead ot comes out side ways and we have to angle it in such a way in order to get the fresh air on us. I mean don’t get me wrong it works far better than what it exceeded. Its just jarring and not sure if thats intentional or just a flaw. Either way I like it, because I grew up with asthma so this helps keep the air crisp and clean

Reliable air purifier — excellent quality!
Purchased this for my large living room and dining room after being very happy with a GermGuardian in the smaller size in my bedroom. Bought it as a refurbished model a couple of years ago (still haven’t had to replace the filter or UV light!). On level 5, the sound is noticeable, but on level 4 or less it is very quiet. Has the UV light, like the smaller one and you have the option of using it with or without the UV. I always use the UV — why not, right? It’s been running for 3 days now and so far happy with the purchase!

Clears smoke fast
Pretty quiet. At the highest setting (5) it starts to get a little bit loud but I rarely need it over 3. We use it in our garage as well as the bedroom. We smoke in our garage, now I don’t have to worry about smoke getting inside my home affecting my family’s health.

No dust! Well made and easy to operate!
We live in southern Arizona with 2 indoor dogs and this air cleaner has made a huge difference with the amount of dust and dander in our house. I used to have a layer of dust/dander on every surface in my open concept kitchen, dining and living rooms. After having this air cleaner on, I don’t have anything on any of the surfaces. It is very quiet and I feel like we’re breathing in cleaner air and our house has a nice fresh smell when you walk in. We had the smaller version that we passed down to our son and it’s still going after 5+ years.

I suffer from seasonal allergies bad, bad. I also have a major highway 300ft from back door. So I have smog, dust, and debris build up. I figured I’d try an air purifier to see if it would help. I did my research and settled on this one. I’ve had it for 3wks. It’s been running about 75% of the time. And today I checked the filter. I attached the picture. It’s mind blowing how much itchy stuff is on the filter. However, I’ve noticed a significant difference in my health since running the purifier. So much so when I leave out the house my body immediately goes haywire with coughin, sneezing, and itching. I love it so much I bought another unit for my summer home. It was easy to setup. Sleek modern design. Lightweight to carry. The 5 fan settings are great. The higher the fan level the louder the unit. Has a timer that you can program the unit to run up to 7 hours. The UV light gives added comfort that micro organisms will be killed on contact. It doubles as a cooling fan as it keeps my room chilled while on. It also filters odors. I deep fried catfish, and whiting the other night. The unit filtered the air in the house and after an hr after cooking you couldn’t even tell I fried fish. Smell… gone! I highly recommend this anybody!

Germ Guardian HEPA Filter: More Noise Than Results
This Germ Guardian air purifier promised cleaner air and odor elimination, but it delivered mostly noise and frustration.Sound Issues: The first thing you’ll notice is the noise. It’s incredibly loud with a high-pitched whine that’s borderline tinnitus-inducing. Forget about using this in a bedroom or any space where quiet is desired.Filter Frustrations: Germ Guardian forces you into their proprietary filter system with no pre-filter option. This means you’re stuck replacing filters every 3-5 months, which adds up quickly. Even more annoying, the different filter types seem to be purely cosmetic, with no real difference in performance despite the color variations.Ineffective Odor Control: The biggest disappointment is the lack of odor elimination. While the unit boasts a UVC light (which I have doubts about its effectiveness), it’s rendered useless by the poorly designed filter. There’s no activated carbon or any real odor-absorbing material, just a thin sheet of what looks like black paper. This means odors linger, defeating one of the main purposes of an air purifier.The Only Positive: If I had to find one good thing to say, it would be the inclusion of a UVC light. However, without a proper filtration system, its effectiveness is questionable.Overall: This Germ Guardian air purifier is a noisy, expensive disappointment. It fails to deliver on its core promises of clean air and odor elimination. Don’t waste your money on this unit. Look for an air purifier with a proper activated carbon filter, quieter operation, and a more cost-effective filter replacement system.

Produto de qualidade e acabamento ruins. A parte de purificação funciona bem e só. O acabamento da tela é de péssima qualidade. O purificador tem três meses de comprado e Com o funcionamento normal aparecem umas manchas marrons na tela da saída de ar que deixam o aparelho feio. Ao passar um pano úmido pra tentar limpar as manchas a tinta da tela já começou a sair. Não vale a pena principalmente pelo preço altíssimo. Pessima compra.
