Slim, Bright, and Easy to Use, But Needs to Stay Plugged In
I got this light therapy lamp for the winter months since I deal with seasonal depression and find that light therapy really helps. I already own a few lamps like this, but most are bulky and take up too much space. This one stood out because it’s so slim, it looks more like a tablet than a typical light box. The small stand on the back slides out easily and props it up securely, and it folds back in for compact storage.It comes with a USB cable for power, but no outlet adapter, and the cord is quite short, so you might need to supply your own longer cord and outlet adapter to use this at a desk. The touch controls are simple and responsive, letting you adjust brightness levels and set a timer. I was impressed by how bright this gets, but I also like that it offers softer settings for when I don’t want full intensity.My only real disappointment is that it doesn’t hold a charge, you have to keep it plugged in to use it. Some of the listing photos make it look cordless as they show it working without being plugged in, so that’s a bit misleading. This would be more travel-friendly if it were cordless. Still, for the size, brightness, and ease of use, this is a solid and functional light therapy lamp at a fair price.
