A decent compact option
This portable red light therapy lamp is a decent option, but has a couple flaws that prevent it from being a great, 5 star, option…My first disappointment was that the “adjustable stand” is not attached to the device at all. It is a completely free standing (somewhat chincy) easel that you set the lamp in. Because it is a separate device it is not real stable and is easily knocked over. In my first use mine was knocked over by my cat jumping up on the table, she did not touch the lamp or easel, nor did she noticeably shake the table, but the lamp tumbled out of its easel and onto the floor.Second, while I appreciate, and wanted the portability aspect and smaller compact size, I feel that this model is just a bit too small. Visually, I thought the size looked great, it wasn’t until I was using it that I decided the size was just a bit too small for me – I didn’t like how close I had to sit to the lamp to cover my full face in the red light. I knew that this wouldn’t be a full body lamp, however I had hoped that I would be able to cover my face and neck in one setting without having the device in my hands or my face hovering over the table it’s setting on.Having pointed out my disappointments, the quality of construction on the lamp itself it quite nice, despite being a lightweight item, my cat having knocked it off the table did it absolutely no harm at all. The handle makes moving the device quick and easy.Use: there is no noticeable heat that is put off from the device so it is quite comfortable to use, you really don’t feel anything at all. I’ve been using it several times a week for 20-30 minutes a time for a month now. I think that this early on I don’t have the full picture on effectiveness, however, the biggest positive effect I have noticed so far is that I am not suffering from seasonal affective disorder the way I normally do during the winter months in the Midwest. I did not think this was that type of therapy lamp, but I am very pleased with that benefit as SAD plagues me horribly each winter. I am very excited to see what other benefits I experience with continued usage!

I absolutely love this product. I used it every night while reading a few chapters and it’s just the best. I just wished the eye goggles had some type of cut out for the eyes so I could see instead I have to put the red light to the side of me.

Good for price?
It’s bright and looks good but all of the bulbs aren’t lit? I’m not sure if that’s intentional but half the lights are off even on the highest setting?

Well made. I bought this for my sister’s ankle injury. Surprisingly, it doesn’t generate heat at all, which I actually prefer. Hopefully it will help relieve her pain.

Great home light therapy
Love this red light therapy! I still dont know if it truly works like research says BUT it does make me feel happier! This product is durable and the real deal! Its set up is nice and spans a large area of my upper body so I dont feel like I need to rotate my face. I think if you are wanting to try this therapy, this one is a great buy and for the price, the value is evident when you set it up! Its a great home therapy for anyone getting into the light therapy trend! I would recommend!
