Powerful, high quality, versatile and portable!
Powerful red light treatment and a well priced unit for beginners and easy to travel with! What an improvement over the small bulb I was using in both power and number of lights. I can feel the difference. Went with BestQool because of excellent reviews from an independent site, company presence, warranty and informative website. This is a quality product and company. There are A LOT of products out there that don’t even mention warranty and good luck trying to get in touch with them. Also, sometimes the bulbs themselves get rejected by reputable manufacturers for quality issues (strength & frequency) and those rejects find their way into inferior products that don’t work for long. I am confident that I will be using my BestQool lamp for a long time.I wanted to be able to separate Red and NIR (not all products offer this) so you can do them separately. Some treatments call for using red only. Also, the timer is great and gives you a 6 second delay so you can get in place or put your protective glasses on (conveniently included).BE AWARE: The base has a very stiff hinge to keep it secure at the angle you select but it is HEAVY! Be careful when tilting it past vertical towards you. It will fall over past a certain point. I use a clamp on mine to secure it to a shelving unit (different level shelves are handy for more precise placement), sit on a stool, adjust the light and read to pass the time. There is a BQ60 model with clamping base and more lights and other full body size panels with cool stands but unfortunately outside my budget. Before I did my research I was tempted by other less expensive lights but, again…quality, price, reputation and portability won out so I chose the BQ40 to get started. I’ve only been using it for a couple of weeks but I can tell you without doubt that there is a difference. I can feel the difference in heat and depth of penetration into the body. I am treating so many things I won’t even try to cover them all but already I have noticed it helps with headaches and optical migraines and I’ve trashed both shoulders/upper arms over the years (73 year-old horsewoman still taking care of one horse and all the physicality that entails including being my own farrier – you horse people out there know what I’m talking about!…hmm, maybe I should just set it up in his stall and do us both at the same time!) I can definitely tell the worst shoulder is getting better. Don’t expect overnight results. It can take a 2-3 weeks to start realizing benefits. Probably helped that I was using a smaller (and weaker) light bulb style for a while but I wasn’t consistent because it was a pain to use and didn’t have a timer which is worrisome if you’re tired. I used to set the alarm on my phone just in case I feel asleep.ALSO, because the hinge is stiff it is easy to accidentally touch the control buttons while adjusting and start it inadvertently making it impossible to see the controls on the front under the bulbs (BQ60 has them on the side). Even though red light therapy has eye health benefits they involve frequencies from a distance and with eyes closed to protect the retina. Also, we can’t see the NIR bulbs when lit – you will only see the small green light above the NIR button and hear the fan running. Use your phone camera focused over your shoulder and you can see the violet light from them. You’ll know if you hit the Red button by mistake because you’ll get a blast of light without the 6 second delay and when you’re that close to see the controls – wow…startlingly bright! So use the glasses until you get used to the controls.There’s a lot of good information out there – some of it very in depth and scientific (mitochondria, ATP, etc.) if you want to dive that deep. With the reading I’ve done of the wide range of conditions that respond to red light therapy, I have found new hope and am excited by the progress I’m already seeing which is making it easy to be consistent. I am looking forward to more and reminding myself to be patient. I would definitely recommend and encourage anyone struggling with health issues to try it. Hope this helps!

The right frequency of light after researching the best one, well made, works to heal and restore
Love the healing light this gives. Works well for pets too. Easy to use, built well and is the frequency of light I wanted after much research. I just need another one now, due to my Mom has claimed it as her own! LOL It is saving be gobs of money not paying the member fees at planet fitness to have this luxury.

Great smallest, travel version
Tested out Red Light Therapy with this smallest unit. On myself I discovered: immediate relief of pounding throb in big toe joint. Surprised, I included therapy on hot tea burn mark under neck and liver spots in same area. After each day of four days 15-20 minutes using both Red and NIR LED chips treatments these areas are fading dramatically. I feel asleep napping in chair during the day.I also slept better when I treated these areas 1 hour before bed. So Melatonin production seems to be true as well.I used unit on floor under spouses ankles for painful cracks in his heels skin. He said made his feet have slight tingling and pain lessened in one treatment!I can take this travel unit to others in family, such as mother with painful Arthritic hands, knees, and back scoliosis.As a retired nurse I find this fascinating.PROS:–Liked the blockage of EMF or electronic magnetic frequencies coming from this Bestqoll units.–Very well made metal housing with one fan on backside to protect overheating, gives subtle warmth radiating from lights on front of unit, not hot to touch.–Thoughtful to include protective goggles eye protection with unit.–Solid buttons and built in timer on small unit with 2 green lights to advise which light: Red or NIR or both, is in use.The immediate success of this Bestqool units therapy inspired me to purchase Next larger unit; to sit in front of on a table or place on some books for side supports to have unit shine down over both feet, etc. Can still travel with larger unit having an included pull out stand to lean unit in position.Bestqool offers warranty extension at their website, business card instructions for this and the BQ40 unit has very nicely done high end instruction booklet.Nice job Bestqool!Highly Recommend this starter travel unit.

My partner and I have been using this daily for 6 or 7 months now and OMG! This little red light machine has been the most incredible addition to our wellness routine. I can’t go a day without it! I’ll list all the positive things I’ve noticed since we started using it:-Improved sleep-Brighter, more even skin-Relieves muscle tension-Promotes relaxationWe use it for 45 mins sometimes two or more rounds of 45 mins, every night before we sleep. This allows us to turn off the lights in the bedroom and signal to our bodies it’s time for rest. The panel is very good quality and easy to move around. I could not recommend this system enough to anyone looking for a budget friendly option. I will definitely purchase their larger panels in the future.

Great all around red light with nice features
Great little red light with amazing features. This is perfext size for face and targeting areas such as joints or wounds. The packaging was professional and well organized with instruction manual and eye protection included. The light is made with heavy framing and you can tell the led lights are good quality. I love the handle which makes it so convenient to move around and the built in stand is sturdy and well built. The front display is awesome because all your controls are right in front of you clearly visible so you dont have to fumble with side controls, also the buttons are responsive when pushed. The cord was a good size but you may still need to have an extension based on your outlet configuration. Light is nice and bright and noise seems higher in video than what it sounds in person, nothing a song on some headphones couldn’t cover up or you might be into white noise. Overall great value and well made.
