Reduces Acid Reflux
I use the product as directed: Cool water from faucet.The filters were easy to install.The taste of the water is very good, but the main benefit is it reduces my acid level so I don’t get heartburn and I get all of the other benefits from high PH water.200 gallons between filter changes is the best I’ve seen on the market. I am marking every 1/2 gallon fill of the ‘blue box’ top portion of the pitcher. I mark on my calendar, then add them up at the end of the month until 400 – 1/2 gallons are filled.I have tried one other PH water filter and it didn’t do as good of a job as this one. The 2 filters are hard to beat for quality PH water. And it was more expensive with unobtainable filters!Coffee drinkers must drink PH water too. It is a must to counteract the acid from the coffee. Better to not drink coffee, but I need my 2 cups in the morning. Since drinking the high PH water, I have no acid reflux from coffee and other foods throughout the day.

Great Filtration and makes water Alkaline
I have had the Seychelle’s filter system for over two years. I have the replacement filters sent less frequently because I have a whole house filtration system, but still use this to filter potable water since pipes in the house could have sort of residue. The filters last much longe then they used to last because I was filtering city water previous to whole home filtration install. This speaks to how well the filter works. Also, based off of reviews on consumer reporting agencies and the results of the water purity after testing on from these agencies.

Water tastes great
These are easy to install. It gives me joy to have a pitcher of water on the counter all the time. It improves the taste of Philadelphia tap water. The only issue I had was that the black and red faucet adapter didn’t work on any of my faucets when I lived in a place with brand new appliances. Now that I have normal faucets it works great to flush the filters when they get clogged after a few months.

These do a great job filtering out a wide variety of contaminants including some harmful metals which are not addressed by some common-brand filters and are known to cause intestinal cancers. I also appreciate the alkalizing functionality of this system. Although I have not yet tested my water pH post-filtration yet to verify effectiveness, this is more of a cherry-on-top feature for me. I will update this review once I have done so.On the downside, I found the speed in which these filters process water to be much slower than other filters after several months of use. By the 4th month or so, water was barely moving through it; even left overnight, only about half the reservoir would make it through. To get the most out of these filters, you have to “flush” them every several weeks, an inconvenient extra requirement I did not realize until it was too late.Despite the flushing thing, I highly recommend these filters as the quality of the water is fantastic and they really do take out substantially more contaminants than other brands do, and particularly harmful ones at that.

I really loved this water purifier, but because of these filters will be looking for another water purifying system. I just put these filters in not all that long ago and they are already dripping so slowly that I have to plan around when the water will be ready for use — it takes HOURS for the cannister of water to filter through. They give you these products to attach to your water faucet that allow you to “Flush” the filters, but for cry eye, they are made to fit faucets designed maybe in the 40’s – today’s water faucets would never accommodate their flushing attachments. UNREAL — and these filters, as you can see, are not cheap. WHAT A WASTE! Don’t bother.
